Hi everyone. We're all going through a bit of a tough time right now with many of us feeling isolated and disconnected with our 'normal' lives and pastimes facing huge disruptions. With all this disconcerting disruption, I for one am very glad to be a horse owner. At least our ponies are one ray of sanity right now.
We've all been faced with many challenges in recent times, Shane and I included, so I'd like to reach out to all of our wonderful QS community and try to do something to help us find some joy and distraction...and what better way to do that than to 'hang out' (albeit virtually!) and do some horse stuff. So on the weekend of April 25th & 26th I'll be running a FREE Horsemanship Clinic for all QS Members.
We'll be covering a wide range of topics and tasks, both online and ridden, as well as some liberty and HiM exercises. We'll meet throughout the day via zoom chat to answer questions, talk about the tasks I want you all to do and see how we all went. We'll be videoing and VOVing several videos from participants each day so we can review the tasks just like we do in a live clinic.
This event is open to all level of riders, it'll be loads of fun with lots achieved. So I hope you can join me. I do need you to register by next We though please so I can be sure to tailor to all riders. You can register to attend with a horse or as an auditor if you can get out to your horse that weekend. This really is something for everyone.
Take care and stay well everyone. I hope to see you then.
