RFT in Warwick

R.F.T in Warwick, Nov 2012

A great time was had by all at the RFT held at Morgan Park, Warwick.

Friday night saw a demonstration by Shane & Meredith Ransley with Ruth & Renva McGill giving a hand in the back ground. After a bleak looking afternoon that threatened to wash out the demo, it turned out to be an amazing night & not a drop of rain fell. It was nice & warm without being too hot or cold. A good rollup attended the night demo & all were truly enthralled. A sausage sizzle followed with all staying to chat & ask questions

The demo went great with Meredith spreading her charm over the audience with some non-horsey people wanting to rush out & buy a horse at the finish. Shane the heckler was his usual charming self adding his 2 bits worth in the back ground. Spider once again proved the confidence & trust he has in Meredith by jumping the upright barrels at liberty, basically from a stand still facing into the light.

Shane also gave a very interesting demo wowing the crowd with Meijor finishing with his signature move, the piaffe.

The two days that followed were amazing with the students learning so much they went home with their heads bursting with info. Shane had us performing Level 2 &3 tasks with some awesome results that just blew us all away. Especially a couple of the horses that had never done any QS before the weekend.

We all went home with so much homework to do & the visions of what will be...

Yes thank you Shane (and Meijor) for another terrific RFT. In spite of what the weather tried to throw at us, everyone in the group did an amazing job and thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend. Also thank you Meredith with Spider and Shane with Meijor for the Friday night demonstration, it was extremely interesting and certainly showed the audience just how much is achievable by following this great qs programme.

And thank you Ruth for the terrific job you did of organising. clapping.gifclapping.gif

tongue.png Not so much cold as drizzley on Saturday & blowy on Sunday.

Was much better than the heat we had the following week, we would've cooked.chef.gif
