I've been home from camp a couple of days now and I'm still on a high! Thanks to Shane and the other students for creating a great supportive environment.

I expected to make some progress with my relationship with my horse and improvements with my horsemanship skills - with my feel, timing, phases. I got all that and more in BIG heaps. I know I have had a marked improvement in every area.

What I didn't expect was for Shane to open up my 'too hard basket' and shake out the contents. He lead (and sometimes gently nudged) me past my anxieties and I found myself practicing and progressing with the stuff I found tough. Exactly what I needed! I have come home with a real appreciation of what it takes to see the progress I want and a huge sense of satisfaction with what I accomplished in the 9 days. Thanks QS

Hi Matey,
What a wonderful experience for you . . . . the list of tah dah's is incredible! How fortunate we are to have these experiences available to us (if you book early enough!!!). I'm heading up there in three weeks now and can't wait to add my experiences.
Cheers,
An excited Vicki :D

Hi Sharon, yes wasnt it amazing!!!! I suppose thats what the QSSE camps are all about , getting (streatching, nudging, shaking, just do it) the best out of us & our horses. I was sooo impressed with at all the advanced stuff we were doing (float loading from the roof of float, cantering around in big open spaces with one rein , to mention a few) & exploring deep into concepts FEEL, TIMING & COMFORT . So amazing to really start to understand them & put them into practise so early on in the programme.
Oh yeah, and 4 of us were on fairly green horses!
FANTABULOUS!!! Thanks again QS!, & well done everyone!!
Makes me wonder what on earth the Level 2s are up to!!!!

Hi Sharon welcome to the family -- the camp sounds great I would love to do this -- but even if I save up the money I would still have to leave Oshe at home

Shane and Meredith really do help us to face our fears and get the best from our horses .

Look forward to hearing of your progress

Avril
